Mosaic. The Journal for Language Teachers is a quarterly publication (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) founded in 1984 by Anthony Mollica. Originally the aim was a publication for teachers of Heritage/International Languages. But the journal became an instant sucess and the publication became a source of information for all language teachers.

The purpose of the publication was to publish articles which effectively combined theory and practice. We were happy to attract contributions by national and international authors as well as to give an opportunity to young authors to publish.
Whether the contributions were submitted by seasoned or young promising authors, all submission underwent a strict blind peer review. The result of the strict evaluations led the Minisry of Education of Italy to identify Mosaic in the Fascia A.

The publication is now online and all past and current volumes are accessible to the general public. We are grateful to the Department of Languages, University of Toronto Mississauga, for its financial support by purchasing printed copies of the journal.
